Lisbon, Portugal · PhD Day 22 June · Conference 23–25 June 2027

Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the Organising Committee, we are delighted to invite you to submit an abstract to ERSCP’2027 — the 23rd European Roundtable for Sustainable Consumption and Production — taking place in Lisbon on 23–25 June 2027, under the theme “Towards a Sustainable Circular Society”. Established in 1994, ERSCP is a leading forum for researchers, policymakers and practitioners working on the transition to sustainable consumption and production. Building on the success of the past 22 ERSCP conferences, we will continue this dialogue in Lisbon, providing a dynamic platform for sharing knowledge, experiences and policy initiatives grounded in cutting-edge trans- and interdisciplinary research, under the overarching theme:

“Towards a Sustainable Circular Society”

The transition to a sustainable circular society represents one of the most significant challenges of our time. It calls for a paradigm shift away from linear models of production and consumption towards approaches that narrow, slow and close resource loops, regenerate ecosystems, and redesign economic systems for long-term resilience. We welcome submissions that bring forward innovative perspectives, foster critical discussion and advance strategies and innovations that support this transformative change, helping to bridge the knowledge gaps between researchers, policymakers and practitioners.
